RE: What does 2nd Corinthians 10: 4-6 mean to Christians ? Why??

in Ask Steem Anything3 years ago (edited)

That is a very clever way of putting it.

Wikipedia defines Charlatan as

A charlatan (also called a swindler or mountebank) is a person practicing quackery or a similar confidence trick in order to obtain money, fame, or other advantages through pretense or deception

There is ample evidence to show Christians do employ confidence tricks to gain the soul of non-believers through pretense, deception, gaslighting, subterfuge and more.

They target the poor, downtrodden, the weak, the uneducated, people in financial crisis, tribes in rural areas and others who are unsuspecting and innocent for conversion. All their charities are tainted because it is always given with an agenda.

As Osho said once, if Jesus were to appear (assuming he did exist before) now he would look at these Christians and ask, "Who are these people?"

Sort:

Those of us who are real Christians will tell people the truth about God and Jesus as revealed to us in the Bible. And we can testify to what God has done in our lives.
