Thursday’s are for promosteem shoutouts!!!! Shoutouts are the one of the primary way to reach people and tell them them about steemit community. Participating in promoting steemit as a community is an adventure every member of this community should actively be involved in.
Today being the 11th day of November 2021, I (@tripplem) and @marmasworld carried out our shoutout In Micheal Okpara university of Agriculture umudike in the city of Umuahia . what3words. Two good heads they say are better than one.
We chose the university because that is where our target audience is and they are the active youths. As we know, almost every youth is socially active and smart phone enabled and these are some of the criteria needed to be a member of this wonderful community.
So I (@tripplem) and @marmasworld met in the university campus and selected our shout out location to be the multipurpose hall and admin walkway of the university. We chose these two locations because students are always there socializing in one way or the other.
I met my prospects, and told them about steemit, my Tshirt made the jobs a lot more easier for me, some of them were so inquisitive, some didn’t give me. Listening ear but some paid attention also. It wasn’t an easy one answering and reanswering their questions , but finally I overcame and got their attention and interest secured
It was a successful shoutout because I have two newbies that indicated interest. But I will first have to create an Email for them before I continue with the registration process which I believe I will be through with everything by this time tomorrow.
