How did your smart phones or computer help you in your academic endeavors.
My phones and laptop have been of great help to me in my academic pursuit.
Most of my lectures notes are in soft copy and without smartphone I can't access it.
It also helps me in carrying out researchers online.
It has also helped me greatly in my final year project works, researchers, seminar writing and reports.
It also helps me in getting information faster.
It helps me in recording most of the lectures which I listen to any time I'm confused on any topic.
Where this devices a distraction to you, or where they of great help to you.
They have been of great help to me.
What do you personally believe will be the role of technology in education in the future?
It will serve as a machinery to make education much easier and less stressful for both the teacher and the students.
Do you think everyone students should have a computer or smart phone ?
It is important that every students should possess a computer or smartphone because these days, most lecturers teach their students through various social media platform like zoom, google classroom, telegram and Whatsapp. Most of the exams are Computer Based Test (CBT) and without your knowledge of operating a computer, you can't write the exams. Final year projects, researchers, seminars and reports are done with smartphones and computers and if you don't possess one, it will be very difficult for you.
Conclusion
The role of technology in Education cannot be over emphasized. It has made learning much easier, interesting and simple. You don't need to rely only on your lecturers notes. You can surf the internet and see loads of interesting journals and materials. You can also watch YouTube videos to understand more. Smartphone is very important if we want to achieve our academic goal, in this era everything we do now it involve technology. In fact most of the lecturers may decide not to come to the class room they may organised online lectures which every students must participate. Most of the developed countries have adopt this system in their school activities for a long time, we submitted most of our research project through email of our lecturers. Thank for the invitation.
