PromoSteem Charity Report : Food Logistics Distribution for Flood Refugees

Greetings to all members and stakeholders in the PromoSteem community. This is the latest post about the charity work we've been running this week. This charity activity is a form of implementation that we do through a project pioneered by STEEM For SDGs.

This action is a form of our commitment to build charity, social and global goals programs in the PromoSteem community. To run a charity program in the PromoSteem community, we have worked together to develop a Steem For SDGs project in this community. Steem For SDGs will run a charity, social and global goals program which will be the only creative and innovative project in promoting the Steem Blockchain.

As a form of implementation of this program, our entire team and volunteers have been involved in charity activities this week. On January 5, 2022, Steem For SDGs has distributed aid to flood victims in North Aceh. The assistance provided was in the form of logistics to support food in soup kitchens in refugee camps.

Official information regarding the flood disaster that occurred in Aceh has been officially released through the @steemforsdgs account. The flood disaster in North Aceh has displaced more than 30 thousand people. Floods have paralyzed the community's economic activities and isolated a number of areas.

Steem For SDGs distributes food logistics assistance to support consumption in public kitchens. The distribution of these donations involves a number of our teams and volunteers. Distribution of food logistics for public kitchens is distributed at the Lhoksukon monument post.

This logistical assistance was distributed through the Indonesian Volunteer Society who served at the refugee post in the Lhoksukon area. The logistics that we provide will be sent to a number of people in refugee camps and to flooded areas that are still isolated. There is also a public kitchen at this post location, where on that day a number of refugees were queuing up to get their afternoon meal.

There are also a number of volunteers, police and soldiers at this post location. Volunteers help cook and pack rice to be distributed to refugees. There are hundreds of refugees affected by the flood at this soup kitchen post.

I had the opportunity to see firsthand the activities at the soup kitchen post. I and some of the promoters team use t-shirts with the steemit brand. The distribution of food logistics donations for this soup kitchen is registered on behalf of the PromoSteem steemit Indonesia community.

The following is a list of logistics that we distribute to the refugee camps:

• Rice : 3 Sacks

• Cooking Oil : 2 Cardboard

• Instant Noodle : 4 Cardboard

• Chicken Eggs: 150 eggs

• Bread: 30 Pack

• Total Fund : Rp. 1.950.000,-

• Source of funds: Self-help (Social Fundraising) from Steem For SDGs volunteers.

• Participating teams and volunteers: @ponpase, @muhajir196, @bangmimi, @alvin.steem, @pojan, @palang, @guski, and 1 volunteer.

• Location of logistics distribution: refugee camp at ACT/MRI post, Lhoksukon

• Beneficiary : Flood evacuees

This is the report on charity activities and distribution of logistics for flood refugees in North Aceh. Hopefully this report can be a reference and consideration for further charitable activities. A number of refugees in isolated areas still need assistance.
