Meet Up Promoters and Entrepreneurs Special Eid Mubarak

Hello Steem-Database friends wherever you are. May you always be in good health and blessed. Greetings to the entire team and amazing members of the Steem-Database community.

Eid is a momentum for us to stay in touch, therefore yesterday on the night of the second Eid (2 May 2022) we held a meeting with steemians who were in the local area. Not only steemians, at this gathering, a number of our relatives and families were also present. This gathering took place at a stall owned by @muhajir169, namely the Mie Bakso Bang Poji stall, which is located in the Syamtalira Bayu area, North Aceh.

The steemians received a special invitation from @muhajir169 to attend a gathering event between steemians in the local area. This is a moment for us to meet and tell about Steemit to our relatives and family who were also present. At this gathering, we were also facilitated with a dinner dish in the form of Shredded Chicken Rice.

As the host, @muhajir169 also served us fresh drinks. In the first session we enjoyed delicious shredded chicken, shredded chicken is a type of chicken dish that is chopped into small pieces which is then cooked with special spices and uses a lot of green chilies and red chilies. We enjoyed the dinner dish with shredded chicken and the taste was really very delicious.

While enjoying dinner, we also occasionally chatted and joked. Don't forget to also capture this moment of friendship by taking selfies together. This is a very happy moment for all of us because we can meet again at the moment of Eid al-Fitr.

This event was also attended by active members in the Steem-Database community, namely: @muhajir169, @pojan @ikmalhariamuna and @alvin.steem. This gathering event is a momentum for us Steemit users to meet and discuss the Steemit platform. After the dinner session, we started the conversation and discussed about the Steem-Database community and Developments on the Steemit Platform.

The topics we discussed were about:

• Steem-Database community planning to print T-shirts for community members in Indonesia.
• Discussion about developing business and business promotion through Steemit.
• Guidelines about the SC04-SC09 curator team
• Participate in the community that was chosen as the winner of the Steemit Engagement program.
• Planning to continue the Learn With Steem program this May, which is coordinated by @ikmalhariamuna.

In this discussion, several pro and con arguments emerged about the quality of posts curated by the SC01-SC09 team. Even in their argument, they saw that a number of posts were not worthy of getting a curation score higher than SC01. In addition, it seems that SC01 curation scores are prioritized for users who join higher clubs, for example #club75 or #club100.

Is the club status then something that takes priority over the quality of posts? Meanwhile, we also notice that posts about promotional activities in the Steem-Database community also don't seem to have much support from SC01. Even users who are more active in sharing content and carrying out promotional activities seem to be ignored.

The pros and cons of club status and post quality became quite a hot topic for us to discuss at this meeting. Even the lack of support from SC01, makes the interest in doing promotions through advertising, training, seminars and workshops become a financial constraint for us promoters. Moving on from the problems that have arisen above, I as the chairman of the Steem-Database community are committed to making the Steem-Database community page a transparent, fair and wise page.

We as community managers will provide fair curation and provide appropriate rewards for the work done by members of the Steem-Database community. We are also working to increase funding sources to support our community members in various countries to carry out Meet Up and Steemit Promotion activities. Funding sources will be allocated through programs and auctions for the implementation of Steemit promotional events.

We hope that in the future, community members and Steem-Database community accounts will get SC01 attention and support. Full support from SC01 will certainly have an impact on providing motivation for promoters who have carried out promotional activities and increase their ideas and creativity in promoting Steemit. Because with the support, it will have an impact on improving the quality of the performance of the promoters, especially on promotional activities that require financial support.
