The spike in cases of racial violence against Asians continues to increase during the Covid-19 pandemic. Until May 2021 STOP AAPI HATE has released data which states that there are 6603 incidents of violence against Asians in one year. Support actions to stop violence against Asians have started trending since March 2021.

The data we obtained from Tempo.co, Stop Asian American and Pacific Islanders Hate noted that incidents of discrimination, dislike, hatred and fear, against people from other countries against Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders in the US: 6.8% online harassment, 11.1% were physical assaults, 8.5% were civil rights violations, 20.5 were ostracized (intentional avoidance of Americans of Asian descent), and 68.1% were verbal abuse.

The issue sparked various reactions from social media users who banded together to fight violence with the slogan #StopAsianHate. On March 17, 2021, Kompas.com noted that #StopAsianHate has been tweeted more than 975K times via Twitter. Meanwhile, there are more than 504 thousand posts on Instagram using #StopAsianHate as of today.

Therefore, through this post we want to mobilize a similar action for the Steem Blockchain community to take. We focus on stopping acts of violence and discrimination to spread goodness, peace and freedom to enjoy life. So, the only way to get involved in this campaign is to post your support to Instagram.

We would like to invite you to take part in this campaign and engage in global action to bring the message of peace. Your participation in this contest is a form of your support to promote the Steemit Platform to the public. We try a different way and invite you to take part in the #StopAsianHate action.
