Our first PromoSteem event was held today which took place at Taufik Kopi 2, Lhokseumawe city. The event went smoothly and as expected. At this event, the PromoSteem team presented the main theme "Getting to know the Steemit Platform". Most importantly, I would like to thank all the participants who attended, and of course thanks to @arie.steem as the promosteem leader and @ponpase as the #promo-steem team partner.

We must celebrate a sense of pride and happiness together, because one step further we have all succeeded in holding this inaugural PromoSteem event. And do not reduce our boredom to always do the next PromoSteem, and with a more special atmosphere.

My Role on This Show

At this event, I as a team from promo-steem acting as operator, this is the most special job, where I am in charge of arranging the event until it ends. Starting from conducting a location survey, booking a place, providing masks & hand sanitizers as have written in this post, to organizing the event today. All teams have done their job perfectly today, once again "let's share applause for this inaugural PromoSteem event".

It is necessary to know, to carry out an event, of course, must go through a careful planning, so that there is a mutual agreement on how the concept should be carried out. Event monitoring and evaluation cannot be forgotten either. Arranging the event management, conditioning the atmosphere, and preparing a comfortable place for the participants who come are also the main goals of this promotion.

Event Structure

Today, 15.00 to 17.00 my team and I have successfully held a steem promo event for newcomers, it aims to provide education about what is steemit ?, How does it work, and where do they (newcomers) contribute to Steemit. For newcomers, of course it's not easy to adapt to this platform, because it's not just writing, on this platform they also have to be taught a direction that suits their hobby. Channeling a hobby is something that is right to talk about, where it will be very easy for someone to walk to the rhythm he likes, without being forced to do something.

In this promo-steem, the material was delivered directly by the leader of the promo-steem @arie.steem, and assisted by @ponpase for some important material about steemit, and several tasks to direct participants who just registered for an account, here I describe a little about the material discussed, of course there are also many other materials that are not mentioned in this post.

Before the event started, the PromoSteem team also gave masks and hand sanitizer spray to the participants who attended the event. This was done in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus which has not disappeared to date. At least, we have carried out the program in accordance with the procedures applied, although not completely can be fulfilled, but one step better we have tried to comply with health protocols. With the hope, all participants present will avoid the corona virus.

We also give some time left for participants to ask questions about steemit. This is the right step for participants to ask questions, and of course also an easy step for the team to assess and evaluate the extent to which the participants already have understanding of the material given.

Furthermore, there is also an account registration session for new users, and doing some refreshments for old users. Here we guide the attendees to enter steemit accounts, and do direct practice with old users regarding the rules and procedures for contributing to steemit at this time.
