New Contest 📢 : Promote And Serve Humanity || 12 Steems in prize ✨✨/ entry by peachyladiva

Greeting promoters, it's a beautiful Tuesday afternoon right here in Abuja, Nigeria. Today I will be making my entry post to @shahidchoudary contest about promoting Steem through charity. This contest really bring me memory lane, as charity is one of my passion, I so much believe we can make the world a better place with compassion. Steem is a platform that supports charity and also wants the best for humanity, through Steem I have been able to carry out some charity works with my earnings from this platform and I will be sharing three of my charity work in this contest.

A visit to a special need school

I was privileged to visit a deaf and dumb school with few of my Steem friends with our steem T-shirt. Our aim was to go the school and encourage the students that they can do better and be the best in life regardless of their situation. We met happy students that were delighted to see us. They didn't let their condition to steal their joy at all. I was really glad I went and it was a reminder that we should be happy always regardless of the situation. The students were able to express themselves and told us their needs, as there is no enough funding for the school and their classrooms and hotels need some renovation. Sadly we couldn't meet these needs because they are capital intensive.

Baking a cake for my neighbor's son on his birthday

This is one act that got me emotional because the boy didn't expect it and he was really happy he got a birthday cake. It was his birthday and his parent didn't have anything to celebrate his birthday, I noticed it and I decided to bake cake for him and he was very excited about it, everyone was happy, him and his parent and that bring so much joy in my heart.

Promoting Steem in a Primary school

As a custom to my family and I every children's day to do something for the children, we did that this year also in a village called Nunku village, we went with our steem T-shirt on, sharing school uniforms and also writing materials to the pupils of the school. We also had a small talk with their parents, encouraging them to always sent their kids to school and hope for a better tomorrow.

This event was one that really changed my thinking about things and life, so many people are in need and we need to do better and help as many people as we can especially the leaders of tomorrow. If we can help to get them a good future then the world will be a better place. I'm grateful to @shahidchoudary for the contest and this actually motivate me to do more.
