Creating Steem awareness in a College of Education in Akwanga.

Greetings steem promoters and happy new week!

In a bit to create more awareness about Steem in my community, @charis20 and I went to a college of education to create more awareness about Steem.

I have noticed a lot of awareness needs to be done in my community as a lot of people find it difficult to believe a platform like steemit exist. @charis20 and I took the awareness to a college of education not far from our community. On getting there we meet with various students and shared fliers.

We were able to create awareness, ask the people to go read about it and get back to us through the contact on the flier. Some of them were excited about the platform and promise to get back to us.

After a while of doing one on one awareness, I thought about meeting with the Student union group president and ask if he can organize a seminar for us where we can talk about Steem.

We asked few person's where the student union president office was located and finally we got the right description and went there. On getting there the student union president was very welcoming and gave us listening ears. He promised to get back to us but first he need to have a meeting with his excos. I was able to sign him up (@bulshaks) so he can check out what Steemit platform is all about by himself.

We met with another guy in @bulshaks office and he is into cryptocurrency trading already, it took the news about Steem well and promised to go through the platform and get back to me.

We want to create a strong hold for Steem in the college of education. It was a great experience talking about Steem.
