Introduction

Greetings to my fellow promoters of steem in this active and very hard-working community. Promoting Steem is one of the core values and ultimate target of this community @promosteem.com. Also I must commend the untiring and relentless effort of my colleagues here in making sure that steem is taken to every nook and cranny of our society thereby making steem popular and indispensable.
Of a truth, the experience ever since I joined steemit has been exceptionally thrilling as it has entirely impacted positively on my world view. I now see the need to touch other people's lives positively.
In my quest to promote steem, I have succeeded in impacting people's lives positively either directly or indirectly.
The essence of the Contest as I understand it is to ascertain how we have been able to serve others and touch their lives positively through steem promotional activities. It could be by providing food items, helping the poor and less privilege, supplying relieve items etc

Through this humanitarian service, the headmistress and other staff of the school got to know about steem and steemit platform and some indicated interest to join as well.

Conclusion

Steemit knows no religious or ethnic boundary. One interesting thing in this post is that this is an Islamic Primary School whereas all of us that went for this promotion of steem are Christians but that notwithstand we chose to impact these school children. Steemit is a platform devoid of religious bigotry or ethnocentric sentiments. And that is why when we are out to promote steem we cut across all barriers to human unity. Because in steemit we speak on language and we understand one language. And the only one language we speak and understand is @STEEM!
Being a Steemians is not all about earning Steem but it also entails touching other people's lives and impacting them positively through humanitarian gestures and philanthropic services thereby creating more public awareness about steem. I intend to produce a steem customized exercise books, pencil and biros to school children in the nearest future through my earnings here.
