First Edition of Female Seminar was a Sucess as we had a New Lady Sign up

As blockchain continues to spread to people it has come to the notice of several steemians that the majority of the number who join the family are males whereas the number of females keeps on reducing. Our able member @magcarnie of steem tech club with the aim of recruiting ladies to blockchain and steemit in collaboration with @nattybongo, @mcsamm and @massachussets organised an online steem ladies seminar.

The meeting was scheduled to start at 12pm. Latest by 12: 15 pm the zoom room was filled with other steeminas who were all ready to take part in the discussion on how blockchain and steemit could be promoted to ladies.

@magacarnie then took us through her plans and ideas on how she was planning on going about making steem known to ladies and also how to encourage already existing female steeminas since it is really rare to find active females on the blockchain and steemit as well.
She, later on, introduced one new member who went by the name Miss Fafa during the meeting who just joined the blockchain and steemit family. She was then welcomed by everyone to the family.

@nattybongo also continued by orienting Miss Fafa on her first task which is the achievement 1 post. He spoke about the do's and dont's on the steemit platform. He then helped her download all her passwords and gave her suggestion on where she could keep them safe for future references in case she needed them.
She was then guided on how to join a community, write a post as well as the right tags to be used for her post.

The meeting was then brought to a close as we had our amazing promoter @collinz who shared his past experiences and also motivated all-female newbies about how fun it is to be part of the big family. Also, he threw a bit of light on how we could also reach out to our ladies who would want to be a part of the blockchain community.

The number of females on the blockchain can also increase when we reach out to them. Therefore, I encourage all steemians to keep up with the promo work and try to engage ladies everywhere we find ourselves.
