The Promoter and Investment, The Future of the Steem Ecosystem

Greetings to all,

I am glad to have had the opportunity to host today's Ghana radio talk show and i was privileged to have had the likes of @ngoenyi the country representative for Nigeria and the steemians like @collinz join us for today's session to learn and share on investing into the blockchain.

Today our lessons was focused on powerups, the long term and short term benefits of powerup, the road to independence as a group or community, the understanding of investment by attendees and the need for us to keep up irrespective of all other odds. How Do you Understand the Term Investment in the Steemit Blockchain - Members Perspective

I think investments from posting to powering up and to some extent promoting steemit to people. We invest so as to earn higher interest right? so basically, everything positive we do on the blockchain is some sort of investment by @daakye

Whatever we do to improve steemit is investment from writing a post to promotion to powering up. For steemit to reach it greatest heights every steemian must be a great investor and must put in every effort to ensure that we Invest our very best into steemit. by @magcarnie

As investment as steemians has to do with when you decide to stake your steem. You can get these steem by either powering up or buying steem with your fiat and powering up. So the more steem we users hold the greater value it will add to the Blockchain. Currencies has value when a lot of people are holding it. by @ngoenyi

Investment I think is something that will really keep us going on Steemit..those we see having strong power was due to powering up and they always look out for those do same. by @awuahbenjamin

Long and Short Term Benefits of Powering Up by @nattybongo

Powering up would allow you as a steemian, a promoter or a country representative be able to support others with what you have been amassed. It also helps encourage especially newbies to stay on board because they would feel appreciated atleast seeing some cents on their posts. It is rather disheartening for them when they get absolutely nothing.

In the short term we can also talk about curation rewards which one would earn as they vote on others post. It was recommend that members go back to read the achievement 6 tasks to understand better how the system works in terms of curation, the best times to vote and how well one could be earning from it which well is influenced by the amount of tokens you have staked in terms of powerup.

The Long term benefits look at the future to come where the more of the world hears of steem and the price goes up and your steem powered up value goes up such that you are able to support yourself and others even better and earn more rewards. Whiles others start from the scratch you would already be there. Also the amount you powerup is staked and yours for the future it is like savings that you can rely on in the future to come.

@collinz shared a lot with us in during his speech we came to also understand that we have to learn and develop the habits of powering against all odds. Thus even when votes ain't coming as we would have hoped. Ngoenyi did add that we can even buy steem with fiat and powerup and i did add that developing the habit of powering up consistently will even make it difficult to withdraw without powering since you wouldn't be ok with it.

Members were further encouraged to keep sharing steem, promoting steem and sharing their stories with us through the blockchain consistently since it is always important to have an active post. It was indeed a great learning for all newbies and old members alike and i must say i am grateful for all who made it once again.

We would looking to having in the next two weeks to come, do be on the look out for the announcement, in the meantime Nigeria would be having it's talk show come next week Sunday and i am by this post also inviting to partake, the language would be english.
