Maiden Edition of Steem Virtual Seminar was a Success

As a promoter and a greeter it have come to know it is incumbent on us to orient newbies well as they believe their journey on the blockchain especially with the achievement 1 tasks so things could move smoothly for them from the word go. There are many who also go through the achievement tasks but may still be disoriented in many ways and so i have decided to host this series of virtual seminars for newbies and old members alike so we can discuss and learn together.

Today marked the maiden edition of this series we hope to roll out and i am glad to report that it was a success. We had @earlito and @neilito join us alongside promoters @mcsamm and @magcarnie and we talked about the basics priniciples of promoting steem. We also talked about the fact that as promoters we are bound to bring investors on board and that it was very important that we did it right.

This led the discussions to the requirements of achievement one tasks the most important things greeters look for, for easy verification and curation so newbies who may already be disoriented won't have to go back and forth between editing their post and getting new verification pictures etc. One important i noticed during my work as a greeter which i brought to their attention was the fact that normally their verification image and post date do not correlate.

So we have to be more meticulous about that, magcarnie also added that some newbies of hers are struggling and intend to give up after more deliberations as to what may have cause it i have decided to reach out to them and help out in any way i can so they can learn and grow accordingly on the blockchain.

We also talked about how one can become a promosteem member and get the label and how to progress through consistent powerups. The meeting started at 6pm GMT and can to a close at 7pm GMT. It was fun, exciting and educational and i am glad i got to do this. I am also very appreciative of all who made it and many thanks to mcsamm my co promoter for helping to make this a success.

The future plan is to get more and more new members to join us on these virtual seminars and to also hopefully make it a thing and do it regularly to help members. Have a wonderful time and do not forget to share steem wherever you find yourself, represent the brand.
