Excerpts from Promosteem-Ghana Discord Party

Hello guys,

It is another exciting time and once again i am here to give you a report of our just ended promosteem discord party which is held on a weekly basis every Sunday at 7pm GMT. We meet as a group to learn, discuss, grow and help each other as leaders of an ever growing community within a bigger community of steemit.

The program started at exactly 7pm GMT and we had a bit more than 15 participants from the start however we had a total of 39 participants at the end of the show.

Weekly Update by @nattybongo

Program began with a weekly report of promotional activities by steem-ghana report by @nattybongo. Activities mentioned included campusconnect program held in Knust, a steem-ghana promoter's meetup is also been planned to get the family together soon. UDS is also working well with promotional activities on campus spearheaded by @massachussets.

Steemians Experience in Steem Promo work

Members were asked to share their experiences including flaws and successes since their promo activities started and we have massive input. It was mentioned that newbies have the challenge of curation of achievement tasks which steem-ghana country reps have decided to take it head on. Pennsif advised that steem-ghana account be used to support newbies before curator3 comes in which is to be taken on. Collinz also shared some general comments on the importance of awareness creation and not necessarily getting signups all the time.

Powerup and It's Value Additon

@collinz shared a brief history on his time here on the blockchain and added the importance and the need for constant powerups in good proportion as our way of also investing in steem. This would also help get us good attention as Pennsif made us understand. Again you will benefit from good curation rewards as well as author rewards too. A strategic means of growing power was suggest by arie.steem and pennsif which members were greatful for.

Promosteem T-shirt

Based on the recent post by arie.steem here, @mcsamm shared news on production underway to distribute the t-shirt to steemians in the Ghanaian community who have expressed interest. There's going to be two designs one for promoters and members. Images were planned to be shared once again in the whatsapp and telegram pages.

Contests

Members were reminded of the speak for steem contest ongoing, the Market Promo which would ending come tomorrow, the steem-coffe shop contest by arie and the need to follow pennsif for latest updates on all contests.

AOB

Members were thanked for making it and encouraged to make it for another meeting next week, any concerns which had not been addressed were looked at by leaders and it was followed by a short music session. Members expressed appreciation and the meeting came to close some minutes past 8.
