Steemit greetings from @morgan76, how are you guys doing hope you all are doing perfectly well.

Today I want to take part in this amazing contest that was organize by @josepha in the @steem-Database community with the theme giving "what I have learn on steemit."

When did you join Steemit, and what were your thoughts about Steemit before you joined?

I joined steemit platform December 2021, first time hearing about steemit I didn't pick interest in it even when they person who invited open the account for me to start my introduction post which is my achievement one.
then my phone get spoil that same mouth when I letter repair my phone I have to study the platform and get use to it.

What are the things you have learned so far on steemit

Since I have understand the platform very well I begin to learn from it, and since then I have learn so many things in this platform, when I join this platform my first post was not justify infact I didn't even apply any markdown style at all but coming to learn more about the platform I get used to it.
I have also learn from my follow steemian by really there post and I believe the have also learn from me.

Who brought you into Steemit, and how was it when they were telling you about Steemit?

@bright-obias was the person who introduced me to steemit I was actually staying far from him so he direct on how to open the account and give me his WhatsApp number in case I have any questions to ask him.
So he didn't preach much about steemit to me, he only said it was a blogging platform where you can share your experience, daily activities and get rewarded with steem coins.
But I didn't agree with him but I decided to try it out so through the process have been able to study the platform very well and take it serious.

Have you educated people about Steemit before? What was it like?

Yes of courses, I have educated people about the platforms both in my work place and I have been able to invite @manlike-nyema @lazillion @kelvinwoke12 to the platform.
Telling people about steemit I like perching the world of God to them especially the ones who are into fraud. Some of them still fine it difficult to believe you after all the proof you have shown to them, but I will never stop telling them the truth.

If you were to give advice to a newbie just joining Steemit, what advice would you give to them?

For the newbies joining steemit I will advise them to stop focusing on the rewards because if the continue that way it will be very difficult for them to be successful in the platform, all the need to do is focus on this four things mentioned below👇

• Reading others content
• Engaging
• Participating in steemit engagement/ contest.
• Publishing quality content in the platform.

I believe following the four things mentioned above will really help newbies that just joined the platform.
When I join steemit platform newly the mistake I make was focusing on the rewards which affect my club status.
