The need to empower women and young girls in blockchain for a better life.
For my existence on the steem blockchain since 2017, l have come to realize certain things which need the attention of all. The blockchain has been identified as a life-changing and empowering platform not only for men but also for young girls in school and women in general. With the numerous charity works and support that have been made to improve the lives of people, steem is more than capable to offer a better life to women.
It stands out to be so unique in delivering its core mandate as a social platform for humanity. For these and many other reasons, the blockchain must be made so attractive and improved to assist the weak in society. Just as women and children are seen as such.
The struggle of an African woman
Women in Africa are generally maltreated in many different ways. There are lots of women who are forced into marriages at a very thunder age. Some have no option than to adhere to the policies or instructions made by the leaders of their community or family. These have affected many women and young girls here in Africa.
The worst of it all is the fact that they have no power to share their feelings about some of these things and stuff like that. Elsewhere around the world, women are given equal treatment as men. This has enhanced the production and activities of many women in society. The young ones that are forced into labor to raise something for themselves and younger ones need equal opportunity to explore their God-given talents. Most women cannot complain because they depend highly on these abusers.
There comes a day when all these will surely be over. With the passage of time, there is going to be a society where women are the leaders of the family and well heard. But until then, we have a role to play as young geeks who have seen the need to empower women that are working harder on the steem blockchain.
Empowering women in blockchain
Steemit as a known social community has everything it takes to provide women in Africa the best they deserve. I am looking at how best the blockchain users can give women equal opportunity to explore the many gifted that they are endowed with.
The organization of seminars and training opportunities is what needs to be done by women on the steem blockchain. These must be done around you to help ensure that, the women in the society are less dependent on some men and other people for their survival.
Being independent is a sure way of escaping all the various abuses that may emerge from families, parents, and society. Everyone deserves to learn a trade or a handiwork which will basically help them feed themselves and their families as well.
Training for special vocations must be organized to help young girls in school t find something they can depend on. It becomes difficult for young girls to get a better education if they keep working for people for their survival. This is why there is the need for women on the steem blockchain to work together in achieving a project that will help women in their respective societies to be fairly independent.
I am aiming at giving women a skilled opportunity that will be needful for their use without being dependable. It will only increase the rate of bullying and domestic violence as seen in some homes. Women in Africa deserve better. The blockchain is our home to get all the various skills for our survival. Thanks for passing by today.
