Hello everyone,

Its such a great day to be back here again. I must say promoting steem through business has been a target i want to achieve in no time. I am glad for this contest which was created by @nattybongo. Not forgetting @mcsamm for his good works and support. I am also glad to see @campusconnectgh helping to educate students about steem. Below is my entry to this wonderful contest.

Today as usual being a working has been a busy day and as part of my errands today i decided to use that opportunity to go to a nearby supermarket. I stopped by a supermarket called MilkyMart supermarket. I entered inside to get some stuffs there. I realised they had some processed palm oil. By the way its one of the best supermarkets here so its always a busy ground. Security is a bit tight with cameras all over. I finished taking up the things i needed and headed to the counter shop to make m payments.

I spoke with the sales girl who said her name was Judith, She was amazing. She offered to listen to whatever information i had, i realised she wasnt comfortable so i asked her why and she said the cameras were watching her and it looked like she wasnt working we were just talking which could cost her her job. I was sad to hear that. I made the conversation short and moved out after i made my payments. I wasn't able to take some pictures because of their rules so a picture with her was a problem. But she took my contact to give me a call so we i can tell her more about it. No hopes lost. Also i was able to take some pictures before i was told. So no rules were broken in the process.

I rushed out and headed home to get some rest and see if i could go to a different supermarket. I also had to change my black steem shirt for my yellow since the sun was high. I tried a supermarket called DIOR which was just about a half kilometre from the first. I didn't actually need any so i just had to pick some bottled water just to show concern so i could open up a conversation with the sales girls. I walked to the counter with my 2 bottled water and said hello to the sales girl. She was polite. I asked her if it was cool to take some pictures and she said yes. I then asked if i could share something with her. She was just a younger eager to learn something. I told her about steem. In fact it wasn't really a busy place so i spent so much time to explain steem to her and how it works and how they could add it to their payment options to boost their market.

She asked so many questions and i answered them all. It was fun talking to her. She was finally interested to join but unfortuantelly her smartphone wasnt working at the moment. So i told her not worry and she could join or sign up anytime. she took my number and said incase of anything she would give me a call. She also told me she had a few friends who had businesses she would love to sign up them up so they can advertise on it and also getting customers who would want to pay with steem. I gave her some of the steem flyers i had and left.

To end it up, It was really a stressful day today but i enjoyed my trip to the two supermarkets. Even though i had a 0 signee today but i have realsied that sometimes is not about bring people on board but it is actually making them undertand the platform very well, guiding them in the process. Its obvious that not everyone will buy what you say. Lets also try to understand these business people. One step at a time. I will be making follow ups to check on them.
