PROMOTE STEEM THRU SPORTS | MEETING WITH HOOP PRESS ADMIN @dwin0603 & PROMO STEEM PHILIPPINES CAMPAIGN UPDATES

Promoting isn't easy and not something you could just do on a snap of a finger, you need to study, research and do some collaborative works to make your goals of successfuly. The epithet "no man is an island" gives the impression that humans do poorly once they are disconnected from everyone else and must be a part of a society to survive.

With that I thought of building a team here in the Philippines to promote steem, i chose the friends who are very close to me so that creating a strategy isn't that hard as we already have a chemistry to begin with. With that here are some of the agendas that we tackled.

I. How can we introduce Steemit to our fellow Filipinos?

As I said before, basketball is like a religion here in the Philippines, so oneway of promoting steem to our fellowmen(kababayan)is thru engaging with them using basketball and even esports in particular as MOBA games are very popular in our country.

Though these are just some rough ideas, we plan to use the popularity of sports and esports as a whole to bring people here in this platform. For example, we plan to support moba tournaments by funding them using some of the funds we earned and raised here in steemit.

We also thought of an idea that will always incorporate a the promotion of steemit in every basketball article we post on our social media page especially our Hoop Press Page which already has almost 5,000 followers as of the moment.

• Promo Steem Facemasks (currently running)

I gave some of the facemasks to @dwin0603 to distribute it here in our province especially to some of our fellow steemians here who had been inactive for the past few years. These facemask gifts will serve as a wakeup call to them to once again join steemit.

• Promo Steem Shirts (we were able to get 1/3 of sir @stephenkendal's sponsorship of 100 Steem)
  

Thanks to sir @stephenkendal for sponsoring our steem shirts, we are now able to print steem designed shirts using your steems. I am excited to distribute this to our new users and comeback members of steemit Philippines Laguna chapter. We have a lot of comeback users now that they know steemit have sponsors and curators who are ready to support their campaign on steemit.

• Recruit A Signup Contest [Ended two weeks ago]
  This contest was able to produce 6 new signups on steemit platform.

• Tag A Friend Contest [Currently Running Until May 20]
  
  I am hoping it will produce new signups as well but my mission here is not just the signups but to include steemians to promote steem organically.

• Daily Chat Contest #8 by @arie.steem (11-05-2021) - 10 Steem Everyday [Total 300 Steem] - 25 New User Join So Far
  

I want to share goodness with others by providing 10 steems to 5 winners every day for the Daily Chat Contest. I got this inspiration from mcsamm which also has a contest like this in the weekly time. and I've talked to him about the contest I would make and he supported

However, the contest I made is different from the others, that is, you don't need to make a post, you only need to share a screenshot of your chat in the comments Daily Chat Contest post in everyday.
