PromoSteem: Presenting the basic steps in Powering-Up

Greetings of peace to all. I am bless today because I have learned how to increase my steemit power. I understand its importance in the community and I am doing my part as well. Now, I want also to share my learnings so others can have ideas and can do power up soon.

The Importance of Power Up

Powering up is increasing your Steem Power. Increasing the Steem Power can boosts your ability to give back to the Steemians and the community. I am always wondering how can I make powering up so I can give back to others and also help other Steemians.

A. What is power Up?

Power up is the process of converting the STEEM to STEEM POWER (SP).

• Steem - one of currency we use in Steemit, and is tradeable anytime and anywhere as long as you are connected with an internet connection.

• Steem power - one of the currency we use in Steemit, is tradeable also. But the good thing about Steem power is you can share it with other steemians. This is what they called as "the influence tokens" because you can use this power when you upvote, post and do comments.

B. How to do POWER-UP?

I have discovered two ways of powering-up.

1. If you have a 0 steem power, you can buy it using your steem dollars. But if you have more STEEM in your wallet, just go directly to #2.

• Steem Dollar(SBD) - is one of the currency in Steemit that can be earn through the upvotes of your writings. It is also called, "author rewards".

Step 1 Go to your wallet
Step 2 Click arrow down in your Steem dollar. Choose Market.

Step 3 Decide in how much you'll buy. Then Click Buy Steem
I don't have Steem, so I market my 1SBD in exchange to 11 steem. (depending on the value)

Step 4 Confirm Limit Order Create

Step 5 Check your Wallet if the Steem already received. Then go to History for double-checking.

1. Now that you have more STEEM, you can now do the power-up.
   Step 1 Go to your wallet.
   Step 2 Click arrow down in your Steem and choose Power Up.

Step 3 Write the value of the steem that you'll convert. Then click Power Up

Step 4 Confirm transfer to vesting

Step 5 Type your username and the active key password

**Step 6 ** Check your Steem Power if increases and the History of your wallet.
