Meeting With My Steemit Friends | Planning for Promotional and Advancement Activities for the Steem Blockchain

It was just an ordinary Saturday as I, together with @rye143 and @leebaong decided to spare a little time for each other over coffee to discuss our thoughts and plans for the advancement of Steemit as a steem blockchain.

Personally, Steemit has been a great help to me, from social connections to cognitive digestions. I believe, the same goes for others as well. The experience is superb that it shouldn't be just kept and contained with oneself alone. Its good noise must continue to roll and reach those who haven't encountered it yet. In this regard, I and my Steemit friends @rye143 and @leebaong have fin'lly joined forces as we have come up with the same thought of bringing and educating more users to Steem blockchain. In this way, we could somehow pay a little back to the community that's continuously bringing us a good experience, and at the same time, pay the kindness of the platform forward that in such a way more people would experience the same. Basically, it's a payback and a pay-forward.

In the little meetup, a lot were brought up, initial plans were laid and fully digested. And that, the collaborative blending of each other's ideas had come up with organizing and launching promotional and educative Steemit campaigns which will lead to hitting our main goal of bringing new users to Steemit, and more importantly, educating them properly about the platform stressing on the value and impact of investing and reinvesting to the entirety of the community. In this connection, I would like to stress out some points of @dobartim in his article on The Best Option for Steem Promotion and Raising Values which follow,

1. "If we get a million users who come to make money and sell Steem, the price will certainly not rise."

2. "We ourselves should be an example that investing in Steem is the right thing to raise its value."

3. "When I see users who have a great reputation over 60 and have very little Steem Power, it tells me that person only thinks about their needs, that they don’t understand the Steem blockchain."

Well, It would be a lie on my end if would say, I was made to join Steemit for some other reasons than to earn. I know the same event goes to many. And I would like to believe that this just reciprocated the way how Steemit was promoted and advertised before. Mayhap, that was seen as the best option for promotions as observably, a whole lot gets attracted to things that bring them money. However, we shouldn't let that like it were. We need to step a little higher for us to go far. Steem blockchain's promotions should include becoming an investor on your own by simply investing and reinvesting on steems through power-ups to in a way contribute to the balance of this ecosystem.

With that has been said, initially, we have scheduled virtual meetups which would talk about the basics of the Steemit blockchain. We have agreed to start with our acquaintances as our first target audience and then, the others. Along with that, we have decided to give away tokens of appreciation for those who would spare a little of their time for the conference.

I know this would need so much dedication and effort to have these all into fruition. But I believe, if we'll work on this hand in hand, we could eventually make it happen. Let's move, even just a step at a time!
