If you would ask me what's the best thing about hosting meetups? You get to know more people! Today, was a day to remember as this day marks the first-ever E-meetup in the Philippines!

Guess what? The participants overwhelmed us, really. We peaked at about 34 participants all in all! We honestly expected it to be around 20 but the numbers were overwhelming. They just keep coming! Overall, there were about 37+ participants.

I and @julstamban, the presenters of the meetup were preparing this for almost a week. Just behind the scenes, we were discussing things that benefit the community and we thought that this e-meetup was the first step of achieving an active Philippine community again!

In this e-meetup presentation, we were able to achieve the following:

• 3.) The Importance of different Steemit Keys
• 4.) How to set up your profile
• 5.) Three tokens of Steemit - Steem Dollars, Steem, and Steem Power
• 6.) Steem Power (SP) delegation
• 7.) How to Earn Steem
• 8.) How to Create a Post
• 9.) How to Put Steemit Tags on your Post
• 10.) What are Resource Credits and how does it affect your activity on Steemit.
• 11.) How to increase your Steem Power (SP)
• 12.) Communities that you can join
• 13.) Useful Steemit tools you can use
• 14.) Discord Servers

There were questions raised by the participants during the presentation and we were able to answer them. Questions like, "How do we know if the vote was a downvote? Where to post our #introduceyourself post?

The Goal was Achieved

The primary aim of the meetup was very simple: To help the newbies understand the basic fundamentals and technicalities of Steemit and that was achieved. I am confident that what we just cooked was a good recipe to level up their understanding of Steemit and the Steem blockchain.

The Question and Answer Games with Steem Prizes!

To make the presentation more lively, we added a Question and Answer portion of the presentation with each question has corresponding prizes. The questions were all about the basics of Steemit and what we had discussed. Indeed, that was a good idea to add that. The participants were so active and 16 Steems were shared during the Q&A portion.
