A proposed idea from a steemit user named @rosz in steemit pakistan about Burn Steem and received a positive response from Sc01 which was written in the comment column of his post, which has become a hot topic of conversation among steemit users lately. So after I learned there are some important things about @null and #burnsteem. Through this post I will share it, hopefully it will be useful and happy reading.

What is @null

@null is a special account on the Steemit Platform that is not operated or controlled by anyone. For anyone (user) who sets the benefit or sends funds in the form of a reward to the @null account then the reward is burned from the token supply.

Steem Burning

Steem burning is a method of intentionally removing tokens, permanently removing tokens from circulation. This is usually done by the development team with the aim of reducing the supply of tokens but they can buy them back and even burn them.

And hopefully all steemit users can manage the benefits to the @null account. But below I will also share how to set benefits to an @null account, the steps are as follows.

Step 1

Before posting, you must click on the words "Advanced Settings" which is located at the bottom just above the Post button.

After that you will see two boxes at the bottom (one for % & another for account name). In the bottom box you type @null and set 25% next to it.
