I hope this new week started well with everyone of you! mine is great and I hope it will continue to be like this all through.

Week before Last I made an announcement on the simple but effective ways I intended to promote steem and Steemit in my city - Uyo. so I implemented all what I said and it yielded tremendous results! I used to wear my t-shirt and carry my flyers along with me to different places I go to.

Guess what? the t-shirt is a very powerful promotional tool because it attracts people's attention, they normally ask me please what is steem, promosteem and how does steem better life? and that was my intention so I seize every opportunity I had during the week to promote steemit and it was a success.

In one occasion where I wore my #promosteem t-shirt out some guys whose shop is by the roadside saw it and they call me and inquired to learned more about the information on my shirt.

I was glad to tell them that Steemit is a decentralized social media blogging platform that rewarded its users with cryptocurrencies for posting original and valuable contents. And that promo-steem is one of the community in the platform where one can post his or her steem promotional activities, and get rewarded for that. I told them that a lot of people around the world already better their lives with Steemit. I also assured them that Steemit is not a scam, because the system is decentralized and it's built on steem Blockchain. They asked me if have benefitted from the platform, and I proudly told them Yes with a proof of my wallet, they were surprised and at the same time happy to learn about steemit.

And I was on my t-shirt so I spoke to the photographer about Steem and Steemit, and the important of investing on steem He was interested about Steem as a coin, so I helped him to buy Steem token with his Binance wallet.

He have knowledge about crypto currencies but he was not aware of Steem. He didn't sign Up on Steemit Though but he bought our coins and he said he will be buying the tokens and keep for it to appreciate!

I've been able to sign up 3 new users to Steemit Last week one among them have written is introductory post, while the remaining 2 will come to my place during the weekend so that I will guide them to write their own post. This is their usernames: @favey, @raimcy and @beckyjah
