We had a Successful Steem Virtual Conference on Zoom Today: A Great Way of Promoting Steem and Steemit Growth
One of the things that has necessitated a virtual conference is the issue of the pandemic making it hard for steemians to meet in person to share ideas. Zoom seminars and meetings are now giving us the chance to meet despite our geographical boundaries. I always get the chance to learn something new and also share my ideas with my fellow steemians in meetings like this. This is the reason I always attend all meetings if I have the chance.
Today's conference was very educative and informative. The theme "Know Your Long Term Goal On The Steemit ecosystem" for the conference gave us the chance to talk about the need for every member to have more good reasons to remain active on Steemit. We had the chance to talk about investment, producing good contents on Steemit and avoiding plagiarism that tarnishes the image or reputation of Steemit and most communities on Steemit.
Members were entreated to focus on making great contents and not just aim at the upvotes. The upvotes will be given if curators find their contents to be very good and useful. Though some expressed their worry about upvotes not coming as expected but they were encouraged to put in more effort into producing good contents at all times and not be worried about upvotes, their good work will surely be rewarded.
Members were also advised to be creative and try to bring on board something very unique. It's very hard to be noticed on Steemit if you follow and copy what others are doing. We stressed on the need to be innovative; the need to bring something new that can possibly help add value to Steem and Steemit.
We also talked about the need for all steemians to see Steemit as a lifelong investment plan that will give everyone the chance to profit greatly in the near future, investing more in Steem now is a good decision. Members were also advised to avoid copying people's intellectual property and always try to be creative, produce their own contents which can help build a strong reputation for the steemit platform.
The conference ended after all other concerns from steemians especially the newbies were addressed. The virtual conference was indeed educative and I hope to see many people joining us in the next meeting.
