Do You Plan to Power Down, Leave Steemit or Stop Promoting It? Perhaps This Message Will Help Enlighten You For A Turn Around

There has been a recent reduction in user activity, and many who were formerly quite engaged have turned dormant or inactive.
I understand the dilemma; the main motivator for activity on Steemit is monetary awards, and if they stop coming as frequently as they used to, most people will find Steemit to be uninteresting.

We saw numerous promotions and active steemians sharing the gospel of steem in their cities and at various locations with various steem promotional products just few months ago, but today many of them are no longer doing that.

I understand how money works; it is extremely powerful, and it can push people to do more and achieve even difficult feats. Anyway, the purpose of my post isn't to make fun of those who aren't active anymore or have left, but to give a message that I feel will encourage a lot of people to continue being active on the platform.

A way to Remaining Longer on Steemit is to Think of it Like Facebook
If you plan to stay on Steemit for a long time, think of it like Facebook or Twitter. These sites don't pay users, but some of us still spend time sharing and retweeting on a daily basis. If you have ever received a Steem reward, Steemit has done better in my opinion. At the very least, your internet data usage and time spent were compensated. So, before you develop a strong distaste for Steemit and decide to leave, keep in mind that the many issues on Steemit are even worse on platforms that pay you nothing. Steemit may not offer all of the entertainment possibilities that Facebook or other social media platforms do, but it is still superior since it rewards you with cryptocurrency and allows you to save cryptocurrency as you use it.

Cryptocurrencies Grow Over Time, Therefore Power Downs May Not Be a Good Idea
For some users, power downs may appear to be another choice, especially when garnering upvotes is tough. Other valid reasons may compel any of us to power down part of our hard-earned steem that is vested, and it is not unethical to do so; after all, it is your money, and putting money in the bank while you are in a terrible financial crisis makes no sense. However, if there is no pressing reason to withdraw some of your steem, it is preferable that you continue to power up. The value of steem now may change or increase exponentially tomorrow, thus it's important to keep them. When the price of steem dropped a few years ago, several renowned steemians sold theirs at a lower price because they had no confidence in steem and I'm sure they are living in regrets now.

Loyal Steemians Win Over time And Make It Great On Steemit
Those who continue to receive upvotes from curators have proven to be devoted steemians, and I refer to them as "die hard steemians." Since joining Steemit in 2017, I've observed a number of steemians who have stayed despite the ups and downs, one of them is our esteemed @stephenkendal. Devoted or loyal Steemians continue to support, promote, and believe in Steem even when others abandon it. It may appear like times are tough on Steemit these days due to a drop in upvotes, but keeping the course is what makes you a committed steemian; anything may happen at any time, Steemit is full of surprises. I've been a believer in Steemit and Steem for quite some time now. If you want to succeed on Steemit, you must be a dedicated steemian. You can't be a dedicated steemian if you only promote it when you get a lot of upvotes. Steemit rewards loyal steemians, and becoming one over time will undoubtedly help you stay and develop.

Consistency is key, if you are giving up because of a bad day or a bad week on the blockchain, what happens when things starts to go great, will you come back? So why leave in the first place

Steem is here to stay with us, be a pioneer and set the pace, thanks for this inspirational message
