Preparation for a campus promo at KNUST.
It is no doubt that the core objective for the establishment of steem @campusconnectgh is mainly promotional activities on campus. The #CCG is a promo steem initiative under the guidance and directions of @arie.steem with the support of @stephenkendal to sphere the many promo activities that are underway. Over the past weeks, CCG has made plans to ensure all the preparations needed for the many activities in Ghana are planned by the promo team in Ghana which comprises @mcsamm @naman @nattybongo @odsam2, and @collinz.
Let me commend the effort of @massachussets who through his effort made a CCG activity at the University for Development Studies at Tamale in Ghana. The meeting ended so well with 18 new signups which is a clear indication of the student's acceptance of blockchain activities. As stated earlier, CCG is going to ensure all campus promo establishes a steem community at the various universities and colleges. This will enable existing steemians to connect with each other and assist in the many activities that are going to be run to promote steemit.
The team has scheduled a meeting to host a steem campus promo this week at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. This meeting is going to be the first introduction of steem at this University especially to the students who joined the school this year. Some students might have heard something about steemit which we would love to have on board. This very meetup is simply to announce the presence of a social media platform to make a positive impact on campuses.
KNUST is one of the biggest universities here in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It has a lot of students with many different programs that are run in the school. CCG is with the intention of making this upcoming promo an opportunity for the students on campus to explore their God-giving talents. There are many potentials that steem need to help shape their abilities.
At the moment, the major tools that are going to be used at this campus promo are steem flyers. There are plans by the team to have additional materials to share in the promotion of steem at the university. We have plans of recruiting entrepreneurs who have the intention of bringing people with business minds. This is where seminars are going to be organized in the coming days.
We are so optimistic that, this upcoming meetup will enlighten the students that steem will find during this promo. Introducing steemit to the student body for the first time will simply not take too much of their time. The following days are for us to get in touch with every single one to help get them into what they think about the shared opportunity.
The steem promo team in ghana who are into ensuring the success of this upcoming meetup has certain objectives to achieve. It will certainly be good to have about 90% of students we may reach to get registered on steemit to be part of the community that the #promo-steem community would want to establish through CCG. But in any case, it is expected that all the available students on campus that we may reach will surely have their details written. This will enable the team to reach out to all of them to ensure their signups are successful on the steem blockchain
In this regard, we invite all steemians to support the CCG and the team in carrying out this campus promo which is happening this week at a renowned university here in Ghana. It is our greatest need to ensure all students are connected and showed the right way to go. This is what promo steem stands to achieve. Even as promoters prepare for the meetup this week, let us keep engaging ourselves in the promo steem activities in spreading steem and steemit.
