How I powered up 3 liquid steems to hit 798 steem power by @bosdj23 || Club5050 || 2-8-22

Greetings to everyone in this platform. So Much elated to make my second post here in this community on power up. Why is this necessary? What is power up? What is steem power and why do you need to grow our steem power in this platform?

What is power up?

Power up is the process of converting or sending our steems to our steem power. This process is carried out on our steemit wallet, on the icon Steem.

Once our steems are powered up depending on the amount powered up, it is automatically sent to our steem power and locked. Powering up enables us,

• build the community/ steemit blog
• join clubs, 5050,75 or 100.
• grow our steem power, thereby attracting votes to ourselves.

What is the steem power these steems are sent to?

Steem power is an icon in the steemit wallet where all our powered up steems are. Take this example: You're working and you earn 100 thousand a month.

You'll probably budget 50 thousand to spend for the next month and then save 50 thousand in case of emergency. You'll save it in your savings account right?

The process of sending that 50 thousand to your savings account is called Power up while the account you sent the 50 thousand naira to is your steem power.

Why power up?

Powering up has a lot of profound benefits in the steemit platform.

• Earning curation rewards. The more you power up to build your steem power, the more Curation rewards You earn on a daily or weekly basis.

• Delegating steem power to communities to build theirs . Powering up enables us build our steem power so that we'll be able to delegate to communities to build theirs, who in turn would use the delegated steem power and vote your posts.

• Joining clubs like club5050, 75 and 100. Power up enables us join these clubs which in turn Will determine the votes we get.

Here's how I powered up 3 steems to hit 793 steem power.

• I first login to my wallet and clicked on the drop down arrow close to my steem icon and then clicked power up.

• After clicking power up, I inserted the amount of steems I want to power up and then clicked on power up. Before it processed, I confirmed and then clicked on okay and it automatically entered my steem power.
