Promo Steem: Steemit Meet Up| How to Be A Help To The Steemit Community

Steemit has been a big part in my life. It helped me in so many ways and so I have done things to give back to our community. Now it is time for me to also give back to our platform.

My co steemians/ co teachers have chatted and decided to meet up to discuss some matter on how we can be better in steemit. We thoroughly planned the time and venue and made sure that we all can attend.

This people might be a bit familiar to some of you, a lot of us have been in steemit a few years back. As we come back to the platform there were a lot of hesitations in our part. It was tough for us to build a reputation in steemit before. We found it hard to be noticed even if the post we made were all quality content. The previous way of rewarding authors before were centralized to those who had connections and not by the content made.

As our discussion deepened we first planned for our first collaboration community feeding. We decided to do a Food Pantry were people will pick the item they think is essential and most needed. We thought of the items we will be displaying. It came to us that Rice is very essential to Filipinos so we can not miss that. Next would be canned foods, noodles, coffee and if there will be used clothes that will be donated we might as well include it.

More ideas were poured in our discussion, actually @rosevillariasa was the one who initiated this meet up, together with @fabio2614 @kyrie1234 @burgundy243 we came and responded to the meet up. Our plans for helping our community was just so exciting to think of. I am really looking forward for our next project.

Along the way we also discussed about how to give back to the steemit community. Powering up and delegation was part of the agenda. Supporting new comers post was also initiated. We talked about how to buy steem so we could power up and also resteeming and upvoting new comers posts. This act was actually something I appreciate the most because we can make steemit stronger and entice newbies to post quality post. I am so grateful with the changes steemit has for the past few days I am here. This platform has shown me that by the post I make I can inspire people and my work is being rewarded. Something we didn't experience before.

We will make sure that we will share our talents and skills here at steemit and show that we Filipinos can do something helpful for the growth of the steemit community. With guidance and support I know that it is possible that we can do great things.
