Here are some ways to generate rewards on steemit

•Creating content (posting):
You get rewarded for creating valuable and original contents on the steemit platform.
•Partaking in weekly contests:
You get rewards when you partake in some weekly contests, and get the opportunity to win prizes if your entry is great and original.
•Curating (voting/ liking) other posts:
You also get rewarded for voting on other authors' posts, especially if the post end to trend.
•Investing as Steem Power:
You get interest added to your Steem Power(SP) since the SP acts like a bank.

As of now, the current price of Steem Dollar (SBD) is $7.20, and that of Steem is $0.5868.

I began being active in September, and from my analysis per post, i get rewards from $0.02 up to about $34; and payments are received in allet after 7days of that said post.
The actual amount is always higher than what is displayed on the post, due to the increase in the value of SBD fron an equivalence of $1(at the beginning) to $7.20 (today).
As such, for a $34 reward on post, i get approximately ¼ of the figure (34) as SBD, and approximately half of that figure (34) as SP. This is an equivalence total of 8.5 SBD and 16 SP, which approximates to $61.2 (for SBD) + $9.4 (for SP/Steem).

With an aid of a screenshot of my account, you will see that i have been able to earn a total of $177.63 Since the day i created my 1st post (that is last month). And $172.81 of that amount was earned this month.

I have withdrawn only ones (25steem), to activate monthly data bundle so as to be able to access the steemit platform without stress. All the rest of my earnings, + winnings from contests, have been powered up, as a means of investing into steem coin.
Below, you can see that my account value is greater than my All time earnings. This is because i powered up all my contests earnings too.
