Steem greetings to all Steem promoters! I present to you all the summary of day 1 for the online orientation session of group 7 carried out by my team members and I.

Since the start of this week (6th December), my team members and i collectively deliberated and decided to dedicate this week's promo activity, mainly for the social media users.

How Did We Prepare For The Session In the days Before

We made sure to put up the link to the Whatsapp group 7 session every single day on our status update

We also forwarded the link to be shared in groups.

• We also did our best to convey to the viewers the right message in limited phrases and shortened sentences. Especially the descriptive message for the group members.

Day 1 Activities (Orientation Premier)

The orientation was set to start at 7pm (GMT+1) prompt, but i was over 20minutes late due to certain circumstances which i will outline later below. On getting into the group, a total entry of 40 members (Administrators excluded) was seen.

We had to reduce the number and push some forward for group 8 session next week, so we were left with 23 actively prepared members for the group 7 session.

Amongst my team, @wase1234 and @shance-light made time for today's session. So i called on @majerius to assist us in today's orientation, which he did without hesitating. It was a blast as we had a smooth run.

We commenced with a quick introduction on what the session was all about.

Thereafter, we introduced the agenda.

Questions were asked and answers were provided from the best of our knowledge.

Directives for the creation of accounts was the closing act. A detailed step by step procedure with the help of screenshots and voice notes was used to perfect this process. But before that, i gave them an advice to see Steemit as an investment platform, if they wish to reap bountifully.

A question concerned with powering up was asked by one of the members, and it was matched up with a brilliant answer from @majerius.

Challenges Faced

A hand full of members were very late for the session.
The local network was very unstable from time to time
The was no electricity up until few minutes after 7pm.
During account creation, some members had issues downloading their PDF, but later resolved it.
Some members slept off due to a lengthy session, which resulted from the mishaps.

Plans For Day 2

Day 2 will mainly be used to finalize the process of registration, teach them how to navigate on the platform (subscribe and post in communities, vote, resteem, edit post, etc). Their Achievement 1 will also be done and submitted, and only then shall their usernames alongside achievement posts be submitted.

Once more, i say "thank you" to @wase1234, @shance-light and @majerius for joining in on this session. I know we will keep on achieving our goal as we not only introduce newcomers, but we also follow them up on a weekly base.
