Everyone, it's good to be with you today here in this wonderful community. I appreciate so much @uzma4882 and @steem-family for organizing this beautiful contest for us. Thank you so much may God bless you for it 🙏🙏

In every different parts of the world there are different cultures, laws, principles and even types of families. Good, today I will be talking of my country Uganda 🇺🇬.

In Uganda, we have two types of families that are know though because of the Inter marriages many families have been exposed to different types of families. The two types of families that are known in Uganda, include.

• Nuclear Family: This particular type is composed of two parents (Father & Mother) with only their childrens.

• Extended Family : This one is just a mixture of different relatives like Grand parents, aunts, children, uncles, cousins and many others.

EACH PARTICULAR MEMBER OF A FAMILY HAS A ROLE TO PLAY👇 👇

In all those families, A father is presumed to be the head or owner of the family with a mother as a companionship. Basically the grate roles and responsibilities are to provide the necessities of life and protection of their family even during the difficult times of sickness or disasters. While a mother's responsibility is to nurture of their children. This may include growing up the children with good manners, following the culture and language.

Parents as the head of the family must ensure that the all of the family members have access to food, water, housing, medical, education to the little ones. Parents are encouraged to be willing to work hard to provide for the physical needs to the family and this grants them an opportunity to be self reliant, happiness, self esteem and prosperity.

In the Book of 2 Thessalonians 3:10, God commanded man to work.

If any would not work, neither should he eat

So this verse from the Bible teaches us to work if we shall eat. Meanwhile in case of any death of the family head, the appointed administrator of estate takes full responsibility. (According to the laws of Uganda)

And any failure with no justifiable reason, the Offender may face both criminal and civil consequences depending on the nature of crime committed.

The Children can also help their parents by doing domestic work, studying well in schools taking care of their possessions like clothes, praying for blessings to their parents, respecting parents and other people in the community.

As I said earlier that each of the family component has a responsibility, the Elderly, cousins, aunt, uncles etc, their common responsibilities are to support the family were needed, praying for them, loving the family members and also involve in some parental hood activities like counseling any of the family members.

By doing all the above roles, the greatest purpose of God creating families on earth shall be honored and respected🙏🙏
