PARENTAL LOVE

I'd like to be talking about parental love; the love for children.
Permit me to start by defining the term 'parental love' and then proceed to sharing vital knowledge about the subject.
WHAT IS PARENTAL LOVE?
This has to do with the care, affection,comfort, concern, nurture, support and acceptance felt by a child from the parents.
WHY IS PARENTAL LOVE NECESSARY IN A CHILD'S LIFE?
Love and affection are essential to a child's healthy brain development. A child's feeling about themselves, how confident they are and how well they cope with stress can all be affected by they parents response to them.
If you have a warm, loving and affectionate relationship with your children, it can help them feel safe and secure thereby feeling happy and confident enough to handle issues. The smooth growth and development of such child is assured!
Research further states that "from birth to age (6) is a very important time for the development of your child's brain. Your loving interactions with your child are very critical for your child's happiness, learning and healthy development ".
So you see now is the best time to nurture that your little king and princess, showering them with soooo much love( infact all the love you have in you) and not just with food and shelter.
Even though I'm yet to become a husband let alone be a father, I believe I can still contribute few beneficial ideas on how to go about the parental love matter.
So I urge you not to get tired of reading through as I'll be sharing (6) ideas or ways of sharing love to your precious child.
1.)MAKE TIME FOR CUDDLES:
Giving your baby or children alot of time and attention will bring so much closeness between you both. Making time to give them enough cuddling every day will:
*Help them relax
*Keep them calm and safe
*Make them confident
*help them manage problems as they grow
*Strengthens their relationship with you.
So my reader, don't joke with creating cuddle times for your children.
2.)MAKE TIME TO PLAY
Playing together is one of the best and important ways to show your children that you love and adore them. Play together doesn't cost you too much, it's just a little way of making your children special 🥰. Always remember that your time and attention is worth more than expensive toys.
3.)MAKE THE MOST OF EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES:
Daily activities like bath time, nappy changing, mealtime and dressing are opportunities to connect with your child in a meaningful way. On your way to shops, workplaces, school or church, you could take out few minutes to point out some things that might interest them.These interactions with your child wouldn't cost you a whole lot of energy.Don't be harsh on your child just because you want to be protective please.
4.)LET YOUR CHILD KNOW THAT YOU LOVE THEM EVEN YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT THEY DO:
While disciplining your child, be sure of making him/her know that it's the bad behavior you hate, not them( try not to use hurtful words as it might take serious bad effects on the child's life).
It's very sad to know that most parents never remembers to use that amazing three words "I LOVE YOU" with their children almost throughout their childhood talk more of using it often with them. If that was your case while growing up as a child, please don't let it be your child's case; be a parent that is fond of reminding his/her children how much you love them, it's an healthy growth specimen for the children.

Our parents, uncles, aunts, older siblings and even mentors are great blessings to us!
We have them as 'The more experienced ones' whom we can seek guidance, ideas and support for good parenting skills - let's not hesitate to seek their help
