Hi my beloved steemians in this honurable community. I wish to register my vote of thanks to @peachyladiva for coming up with this all important contest topic.

Introduction

I have not seen or heard where it is written that A Father shouldn't participate in the care of his children.

First and foremost we need to know what a Family is

Family:
Family is the most important influence in a child's life. From their first moments of life, children depend on parents and family to protect them and provide for their needs. They are child first teachers and act as role models in how to act and how to experience the world around them.
To crown it all "family is the strongest unit of one's life"

A father is a male parent of a child.
The paternal bonds of a father to his children, the father may have a parental, legal, and social relationship with the child that carries with it certain rights and obligations.

Responsibilities of A Father.

• to influence and impart values
• to confer a healthy identity
• to provide security
• to affirm potential

Mother:
A mother is a female parent and a woman who gives birth or who has the responsibility of physical and emotional care for her children. A mother must be supportive, authoritative, strong, humble, patience, respectful

Roles of a mother

• A manager for the family
• Household nurse
• World's best chef
• Being a teacher for her children
• Financial controller

Both parents have equal say in their children and responsibilities have to be equally divided

Children needs special care and attention from both parent so as to make them bold, children that lack care from both parent suffers alot e.g they don't feel free to play with other children because insult are been rendered to them by their friends using their family present situation to make mockery of them.

Parental Responsibilities.

"Both parent and not mothers alone"

• Should create room for their children to discuss sensitive issues them
• Should provide environment that is safe for their children
• Should provide your children with Basic needs
• Should provide discipline which is effective and appropriate
• Should teach their children morals and values
• Should involve their self in their Children's Education
• Should provide their children with self-esteem needs.

Conclusion
Taking care of children is a general thing.
