My professional dairy on a building project. 10% pay to steem family.

Today i will be sharing with you the stages at which we are in this beautiful two storey complex with show glasses and swimming pool. As a civil engineer its our responsibility to design and construct or building any project given by a client. I checked and designed this build using orion software. I'm proud to be a civil engineer.

So the stages taken for this building includes the following. Note; This is our 2nd week on this project.
•Soil test
•Structural analysis
•Setting out
•Foundation (dpc)
•building the storeys (blockwork)

Stage1. Foundation
The soil test of the soil was done and reported accordingly.
We have different types of foundation, but in this case, we are using RAFT FOUNDATION due to the nature of soil and location. This is a swampy are as you can see from the pictures. At this stage the raft rebars are done with columns and it has been casted with concrete. What we are doing is filling the sections with sharp sands.

Swimming Pool
The pool was dugged to the dept need. The bottom casted with concrete and blocks are layed for the walls. What was left as at this was to cast round the walls.

Soil Compaction
We are compacting the soil with compaction machine, to prevent settlement. Next step is casting the dpc with concret. After this the blocks are layed to the lintel level. At this point we chain round the building.

For this stage the swimming pool has been padded round the corners during the casting of walls with some mechanical and electrical fittings placed.

Presently, we are about to cast with concrete the lintels, to continue with the block work to the deck. Todays work load is hectic as the labourer are preparing to cast, the capenters are doing some finishing touches. The Gorgeous blue tiles are been laid at the pool by the tiller.
