How to Make Parents Happy by @imuniru38

Greetings to everyone in this great community, and hope you are all doing well. To start with my views and suggestions on the topic how to make parents happy, I would like thank @humaidi for setting up this contest and the Steem Family Community for making their platform available for all.

Our parents are the most precious gifts we could ever have as people, some say the biggest luck in life is which parents you were born into that even Warren Buffet calls it “the ovarian lottery”. So how then do we also repay or treat these perfects gifts ours in other to make them happy, even though it might seems quite impossible to repay our parents in full for all what they have done for us.

To start with, my very first suggestion on how to make our parents happy is by being obedient to them, obeying them in several rightful ways that we can. In several quotations from scriptures such as the Bible and Quran, it tells us the value of our parents to us and how we should also treat them whether we are adults or still young, and it outlines obedience as the top most way of soothing our parents to an extent. For instance, the Bible tells us to obey our parents as part of the commandments to man. And also in the hadiths of Muslims, it says that after God and the prophets, the next people we should obey are our parents, especially our mothers. Therefore obeying our parents is one of the ways we should live in other to make our parents happy.

And again, another way to make our parents happy is by becoming the dreams that they always wanted for us or we have always wanted. Our parents have always wanted the best for us in our future careers since our childhood to our grown ages, and they want us to be more successful than they ever were. So becoming these dreams or turning these dreams that they have always had for us into reality and fulfilling our goals is also one of the greatest way to not only make them happy, but very proud also.

Furthermore, one way of making our parents happy is by being there for them, checking up on them or paying them regular visits if you are not with them anymore. Having our parent’s feel they still have someone who cares for them especially in their old age is way of making them happy and also feel like having someone that cares for them and someone they could rely on.

These are all but a few things we could do to make our parents happy and proud of us, we should not belittle any good thing we have to offer them, because that little thing is all what they could want from us, for not all parents are the same and not every deed is what can actually repay them back. What we have to do is try our best in making them in our own way.
