Higher education is still very necessary in today's world. Why we could even describe our world of being modern is because of higher education. Without education we might still be doing things the primitive ways. Higher education has made us to be innovative, looking for new ways to make life more easy and comfortable for mankind. That's why we have the internet where we could easily explore things.

Interaction, sharing of ideas, experience and socializing is also a contributing factor in the world's development.
And that can be achieved by studying not in isolation but coming together to study.
Learning is an everyday thing in which even the tutors learn from their learners, hence the need for visual interaction

I think payment is still very needed in education if it should be taken seriously by the learners. A learner might not put effort in learning if he is learning for free. But he will see the worth of learning if he pays to learn.

Parent should try and pay their wards fee but if a learner can afford the fees, he should pay it because learning is worth everything.
