Contest! New! My Favourite Dance // Мой Любимый Танец // CLUB 5050
The traditional dance form of Bangladesh is mainly related to different types of traditional festivals, ceremonies or worship. In this case, most of the dance forms are accompanied by the presentation of mythology as well as music. In that case, in most cases, the traditional dance form of Bangladesh is seen to be served as songs or plays. Although in some cases the names Nach, Nachan, Nachari etc. were used, most of the researchers identified the performances as Natyapala performances. This is because, although the elements of dance become the mainstay of the performance, it is not unreasonable to call it Natyapala when the elements of the play are included in the performances. However, apart from music based on melody or drama based on verbal dialogue, some traditional dances with pure rhythm are still prevalent in Bangladesh. In this discussion, some of the traditional dance forms based on music and drama prevalent in Bangladesh in recent times were introduced.
Jhumur dance / leaf dance
This dance is usually performed in Karam-Karma-Karam Puja ceremonies. The subject of this dance is not god-dependent, but entirely human. Love-marriage, daily life, life-suffering are the subjects of this dance. .In this context, we can talk about a Jhumur dance program seen at Srimangal Chabagan, in which the song was sung as:
New leaves on seedlings
Green Baran Tila Lo
There is no such thing as tears
After drinking the water of the drain-aunt, the body became black.
