Officials who have just been appointed within the Aceh Government were given directions to accelerate the realization of the Aceh Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBA).

This request was conveyed by Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) Aceh, Azwardi, on behalf of Acting Governor of Aceh Bustami during the inauguration ceremony of 7 Heads of Aceh Work Units, Tuesday (21/5/2024).

Acting Aceh Regional Secretary, Azwardi emphasized the importance of accelerating the realization of APBA to support the implementation of planned development programs.

He emphasized that the newly appointed officials have a big responsibility in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of budget use in accordance with the needs of the people of Aceh.

Azwardi also emphasized the importance of accelerating the realization of APBA, which has now entered the second quarter. It was stated that the final target for this month was 35 percent for physical realization and 31 percent for financial realization. Meanwhile, to date, realization for both is below 25 percent.

Regarding this, his party asked to immediately take accelerated steps, so that the realization of APBA absorption can reach the targets that have been set.

"Officials should work synergistically with all levels of government and other working partners, to ensure that every budget allocated can be utilized as best as possible for the welfare of the people of Aceh," he asked.

Azwardi also reminded officials to support the implementation of PON XXI Aceh-North Sumatra 2024. The success of PON XXI is a form of commitment to advancing the sports sector in Aceh.

He continued, PON XXI is an important momentum to show the world that Aceh is capable of being a good host and capable of holding national scale sporting events successfully.

Therefore, the Regional Secretary reminded the appointed officials, and other SKPA heads, to jointly support and make the implementation of PON XXI in Tanoh Rencong a success, as clear evidence of the spirit of unity and togetherness.

In his speech, Azwardi explained that the mutation carried out today had gone through a long process and was in accordance with applicable regulations.
