Big cooking competition ( Mixed vegetables)

Hello everyone, I’m Tangera happy to participate here. I have not participated any food related competition yet. When I got this post then decided I will participate this competition. It’s very easy to participate because subject is vegetables that is very normal recipes .

Thanks for choosing vegetables, we all know vegetables are good source of vitamins, minerals, vitamin C, potassium. It is a source of dietary fibre that can reduce our bowel cancer.

If we have a habit to having vegetables every day that is very helpful for our health.

Now I am coming to my main point today’s recipe. Today I have chosen mixed vegetables that is very easy to cook.

Now I’m showing what ingredients and how much do I need?

The things I need

  1. One big onion chopped
  2. 4 green chillis
  3. One tomato
  4. 3 tsp coriander leaf chopped
  5. 3 potatoes
  6. 2 carrots
  7. Two small sizes Broccoli
  8. Half cauliflower
  9. 4 colour full Capsicum
  10. One table spoon turmeric
  11. Salt( To test)
  12. Sunflower oil (5 tsp)
  13. Five mixed spices ( panch foron) that is very special, if you add this vegetables test will be double. You can get it Bengali and Indian grocery shops or can order from eBay, just search panch foron then you can get it.

Here is my preparation:

Process:
At first I have washed my onion, chilli, tomato and coriander, then chopped it properly except chilli. I cut the chilli vertically.

Secondly, I have washed potatoes carrots and capsicum and cut in a small sizes, then I cut the cauliflower and broccoli finally washed them. Here is the cutting size.

Thirdly , I have heated my pan , then I poured the oil, when it hot properly then I put onions, chilli, tomatoes and then salt and turmeric, then mixed well properly by spoon .

Finally I have put rest of the vegetables then mixed well all together.

It’s need to boil 20-25 minutes, after boiling I mixed the special panch foron. Kept it more 5 minutes then I added coriander leaf.

It’s ready now! It’s very testy and healthy can serve with rice, chapati and porata.
