A Rainy Night
As it pours down from the sky,
Trying to drown us standing by,
Giving us sorrows,
Tearing our dreams,
It comes quick pouring down.
It doesn't shine,
But tries to darken our light,
Coming closer to a closing delight,
A peril coming fast,
Pouring down at us.
Can it tear us down ?
Pour on us,
Or will we stand our ground ?
Emerging from a quiet night.
Only true warrior emerge now,
Turning it into light,
A ray of sunshine,
Shinning bright,
Embracing the beauty of life.
