WEEKLY CONTEST WEEK 4 - Poetry Game - Day 2 - Reward Pool 50 STEEM. A THOUSAND TIMES I WOULD HAVE LOVED YOU (original poetry) by @soyliliena
A THOUSAND TIMES I WOULD HAVE LOVED YOU
I would have loved you a thousand times
And a thousand times one would have loved you
I would have set my heart on fire
Dried up faith with the breath of your word
I would have machine-gunned the sky by the sweat of your skin
And I would have continued loving you.
I would have loved you a thousand times even knowing you were a fugitive.
I would have sown my entrails with your tree hands
With your thousand-year-old sparkle voice.
I would have silenced the air for your fierce ideas
I would have caught the sun
I would have escaped to the wind
I would have crucified
And still I would have loved you.
I would have loved you a thousand times when the dawn woke up
At sunset of fairies and elves.
I would have gone blind from the flash of you.
I would keep you barefoot until the Potosí
I would have died and risen in each line shaped by your pulse
I would have painted roses on your grave of inexhaustible stars.
I would have loved you a thousand times,
how I love you today without knowing you
And knowing your spirit
I would have loved you.
