Strong winds that hit Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia, on Sunday, 05/07/2024, damaged six residents' houses.

Rain accompanied by strong winds that afternoon caused people to panic, but there were no casualties in this disaster.

Six housing units were damaged in several sub-districts in the Bireuen Regency area, with six housing units in a condition of heavy, moderate and light damage.

In Laksmana Village, Jeumpa District, 1 house unit had its kitchen roof damaged, the house belonged to Ibrahim Alamsyah (62 years). The condition of his house is in moderate damage, he lives in the house with his wife and three children.

Cet Iboeh Village, Jeumpa District, 1 house unit had its front roof damaged. The house belongs to Tihalimah (76 years). His house was in a slightly damaged condition, the house was occupied by 1 head of family consisting of 3 people.

In Meunasah Asan Village, Simpang Mamplam Bireuen District, 1 house unit was badly damaged due to being hit by strong winds. The house belonging to Zainuddin Ahmad (84 years old) had damage to the roof, he lives in the house with his wife, children and 5 grandchildren.

Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds hit parts of Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, it is hoped that the public will remain alert.
