Bireuen Regency Government Provides Scholarship Compensation for Children of Heirs.

A number of heirs of village officials participating in the Employment Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) who died some time ago, Thursday, 2/5/2024, received BPJS Employment compensation from the Bireuen Office handed over by the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan PhD in a series of events commemorating National Education Day (National Education Day) in the courtyard of the Bireuen Regent's pavilion.

Head of Bireuen Regency BPJS Employment, Aisyatur Ridha, explained that the compensation provided was Death Insurance (JKM), Old Age Security (JHT), scholarships to the family of the late Mustafa Ali, an official from Gampong Blang Rheum, Jeumpa.

Then, compensation for the family of the late Arifin Matsyah, the Sawang village apparatus, Peudada, the family of the late Fauzi Abdullah, the Tanjong Beuridi Gampong apparatus, South Peusangan, in the amount of tens of millions and the value varies, including scholarships to the children of the deceased.

Aisyatur Ridha said that the compensation provided was death insurance, old age insurance and scholarships because they had been BPJS employment participants for three years. So, two children will be covered from kindergarten to college.

BPJS Employment participants who receive compensation pay predetermined contributions every month as members of the village apparatus.

"Our participants, both wage earners and independent workers, both have the right to receive social security through membership in BPJS Employment," explained Aisyatur Ridha.

The compensation was symbolically handed over to the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan PhD together with Forkopimda officials in commemoration of National Education Day (Hardiknas) in the courtyard of the Bireuen Regent's Hall.

During the ceremony, the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan PhD, acting as the ceremony inspector read the written message of the Minister of Education and Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim.

The ceremony was attended by Forkopimda officials, as well as officials along with a number of employees, teachers, within the Bireuen Regency Government, students, middle and elementary school students from the Education and Culture Department.
