Big Cooking Competition Week 2 -Day 6 -Create The Best Vegetarian Dish || Boiled Lady Finger ( Okra ) ||

Good day fellow steemians. How's your day! Hope its gonna be fine. Yoday let me share with you my kind of menu which is very affordable and can be found in our backyard garden. If you want to plant this kind of vegetables it will easily grow and we can harvest after a few months of planting. ( stemated days to harvest is 60 days if the condition of our climate is sunny. ) Most of the people in province have this particular plant fir their foods or consumption. It is a simple kind of food but ofcourse it has full of vitamins and minerals which is needed for our body. We must eat " okra " and other kind of vegetable for our healthy living.

Here are the ingredients listed below:

    Okra -1/4 kilo
    Onion - 1pc medium size
    Tomato - 1pc meduim size
    Hot chilli pepper - 2pcs 
    Vinegar - 3 table spoon
    Salt - 1 teaspoon full
    Umami seasoning - small amount or drops

The Procedures in Cooking Boiled Lady Finger " Okra "
1.Wash the okra
2.Boiled for about 10 minutes to make it smooth

3.While waiting for the okra to cooked. Cut the onion and tomato into different shapes or sizes or to your desired shapes.

4.Remove the okra from the casirolle by using clip or tongs and put into the strainer and let it cool.

5.Transfer into plate and cut the top portion of the okra which is the hard part.

6.Press the okra by using spoon or laddle in order to flattend the okra.

          ~ ( Seasoning ) ~

7.Add first the vinegar, then salt and the umami seasoning. then mixed well.

8.Put the sliced onion, sliced tomato and hot chilli pepper. Then mixed it well and try to taste it for the best result.

Nutritious Facts:
It is very good in our health. It is rich in vitamins A and C and it can also help to mimimize or reduce some serious health conditions like stroke and cancer. So for us to prevent those serious health conditions its better to eat this kind of food. To strengthen our life span.
