MOTHER IS GONE

A great mother eagle
Soars towards heaven summit
Sunlight in her wings
Mama has crossed the river

A mighty oak tree has fallen
Sprawled across a great river
Water splashes everywhere
Mama has crossed the river

The shade is no more
And the nest is gone too
the warmth is no more
Because the Heart is cold
River of tears
Cascade on and on

Goodbye courageous mother
Vivacious, fearless soul
You were worth your weight in gold
Mama has crossed the river.
