Deeds of Reciprocity

It’s not magic we use to have the things we need
We depend, adapt, and modify while our environments bleed
The seas, trees and animals serve as our source of food; and in them we feed
Truly blessed are the people but we forget to reciprocate

Cleaning makes the surroundings look clean
Cutting down trees, trimming grasses and burning dead leaves Oh! how mean
Turning the landscape upside down to suite to man’s desire
Modification breaks the natural flow and let it afire

Let’s be reminded in everything that we do
We survive when the other does too
Our beautiful and bountiful environment sustain our daily needs
The least we can do; is to conserve, protect, and improve our environmental deeds!
