Humility/Pride

Knowledge without humility is self defeating and self destruction
Thus, if you are given power,
Don't be consumed nor driven by pride which is depleting and arrogating
But that shouldn't make you cower
In fear, but as you are growing up the ladder,
Don't resort to the evil path of pride rather choose humility
As pride will destroy your image further,
And from the societal hawk eyes, you can't hide, its visible even to the blind!

The proverb says, we have seen how pride befalls a man,
But a humble man is showered respect,
Thus, in the fury of ego, your downfall began,
So, don't fall into the cozen trap, your stupidity it will reflect!

Humble personality will take you to the path of righteousness,
Never let pride overpower your journey to greatness,
Securing more knowledge will lead you to sustenance,
So, why not abhor the pride to escape from penance?

Times are uncertain/ unpredictable so why not renounce pride and embrace humility?
Let humility shine and other vices hide,
Humility and kindness will bring about a positive change,
Pride may look lustrous but expand your limited range!

Humility will take you to places of peace, joy and even earn you more respect
While pride will give you an oily grease,
With humble outlook, the face may look full and ashen,
But don't be mistaken,
As the aura of humility will emanate ethereal charm,
Will enlighten your path with calmness, tranquility, gentleness in spirit Give you soothing relationships and a status of stability with no elastic limit.
Thus on the wings of humility, take the chartered path of desirability,
Eschew pride by giving it a miss, And discover peace and success giving you a kiss! Like the ocean flow.
