Weekly Contest Week 3 - Day 6 - Steem Viral Game - How To Attract Investors to buy Steem, raise their Steempower, and Support Creative Users.
Hello wonderful Steem School People,
This is my first post here, since I join early April. Special thanks to @Dorbartim and other role model for putting this in-place, the purpose is to equipped steemians with marketing strategies and tools for building our communities. The contest is to attract investors through audio-visual stimulation content, give them reasons to invest in Steem, be part of supports and steem success. Here, we are to assume to play the role of an investor.
Who is an investor? investor is a person who invest his capital for the purpose of earning return from the capital invested. Putting myself as investor there three things I look for before investing:
- How the System Work
- What does their 3-4 years financial reports says.
- Their maintenance strategies against nosedive in value.
- Their future reward in term of long term returns of capital invested.
HOW TO ATTRACT INVESTORS TO BUY STEEM
From my own point if you don't know the type of investor, you wouldn't know how to engage your enterprising personality to make them buy steem. There are three types of investor: pre-investor, passive investor and active investor. Knowing the one am dealing with will make me know how to win such person easier and without much work.
- Pre-investor is someone who isn't investing. They have little consciousness about investing, little saving. They majorly focus on consumption.
To attract this people to steemit. I will let them know the benefits such as saving by converting SBD or steem to Steempower, also promotion of their fashion muse on steemalive, steem music etc since they focus on consumption. So they spend and earn more through content creation and promotion.
- Passive investors have basics personal financial planning such as owning a home, retirement plan, saving at least 15% of earning. They are people with busy lives, families, jobs, outside interest. They lack control over financial security; lack risk control strategies and overlooks.
To attract this type of investor. I will let them know that creating content occassionaly and partaking in contest that fit their line of busy schedule will fetch them profit and cash flow.
- Active Investor: Build on foundation of passive investor. They are actively involved to growth their investment to next level. They handle things with business sense. They understand that wealth building sport is about return of investment (ROI) or capital. Hence, they are value adding people. It is easy to win this type of investor. Because I see myself as active investor. I love to mechanically build my wealth on long term basis.
Here, I will let the investor know that steemit is a social media blockchain that run on steem blockchain, this make it long-term investment because activities happening in the communities guarantee continuity of the business.
Also, he will continue building his wealth by supporting creative users through upvoting and earning curator reward when he power up is Steem dollars or steem to steampower. Such gives him influence as authoritarian. Because steemit make you independent to grow your influence individually, he can create attractive content and get rewards for doing so as an author. I will make him know that steemit pay in three different way:
- through Steem
- Steem Dollar (SBD): Are what users send to each other when they up vote or share each other's content, SBD is use only within the steemit platform.
- Through Tron or Trx
Active investor needs to be show details of how the system works. Same for passive investor but for pre-investor they need to be shown the benefit gained by the procurer or marketer evidently to win them. They need to know what Steem and steemit are:
Steem is a social blockchain that helps the growth of communities through reward for sharing content. While steemit is build on top of steem blockchain, steem is foundational Cryptocurrency of steemit that is controlled by steem blockchain. Steemit is a social media platform that the steem block chain supports.
Also, pre-investor needs to know what is steempower which is a token that symbolized how much influence the investor will have within the platform. The more the steempower, the more upvotes and downvotes count.
HOW TO RAISE INVESTOR STEEMPOWER
Every investor investing in long-term investment like steemit, usually consider how they will grow or increase their returns over years or designates period of time. Such aspect is what steempower provides. This stage comes during or after they have been attracted. First, having told them that they earn in two ways( creating content as blog as an author and investing into Steen/steempower).
For them to power up their steempower requires earning more Steem dollars(SBD) and watching the market price of steem. once the price drop is a good way to buy steem using SBD or trx and then power up the steem to increase their influence in the communities. The higher the influence the more they earn. However, the key to wealth building in steemit is consistency.
REASON T O INVEST IN STEEM
It has future which guarantee return of investment due to it social media platform. Just as Facebook will last longer based on management, so also is steemit. Here, you get pay for posting and sharing unlike other social media.
Avenue for branding product. As investor, it will helps to cement your brand and publicized it. Thus, you will kill two birds with one stone.
It will boost your earning and helps you to have financial securities for future retirement plan, as Cryptocurrencies values are increasing daily, over many years you will be millionaire.
It helps to cultivate saving habit for pre-investor, serve as source of passive income.
It improve your capacity in the use of audio-visual communication for product promotion and many more.
- It equipped your intellectual skills, the key to influence your world.
- Just as you trade and buy things with bitcoin you can also with steem. The difference is that bitcoin is peer-to-peer while Steem is social media blockchain with benefit higher than bitcoin and other fiat coins.
