Hope everyone spent his/her day well today?
I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to @iykewatch for the ongoing contest, and to thank @dobartim the admin of steemschool.
Before i will say anything I will love to define courage and persisteance so that we can be able to understand proparly when we read.
WHAT IS COURAGE?
Courage is the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, without fear.
WHAT IS PERSISTENCE?
Persistence is the ability to stick or hold on to something.
HOW CAN COURAGE AND PERSISTENCE BE THE TOOL TO SUCCESS IN STEEMIT PLATFORM AND STEEMSCHOOL COMMUNITY?
Steadfastness or perseverance is very essential for success in life. With courage and a strong determination, men of mediocre powers have done great things. ‘A rolling stone gathers no moss,’ and a man who sticks at nothing, who tries one thing now, and another at another time, and perseveres in neither, can never succeed. Men who persevered have overcome great obstacles which at first sight seemed insurmountable.
Let talk about myself a bit in a short story.
I started thinking about my life and how to make it to the top, but the question I asked myself was how do I get to the top which is the question most STEEMIT or STEEMSCHOOL members ask themselves. I was determined to be a CATERER as my Business handwork and also to read LAW in school as my carrier in future. But the problem was how, when, and where do I start from.
I started selling sachet water on the street Because no one to assist me financially with that I gather more money for years then I register for jamb to further my education and register for catering training class. There were many obstacles here and there to stop me, many tried stopping me by their words but I insist and keep pushing. Till after six months I was done with my catering class then I got admision to the recent school I'm into now. Then I was able to accomplish quarter of my dream which is learning catering, now I'm in school in my 2nd year about graduating from school and planning to rent a shop to establish my catering business fully . Without courage, persistence, determination, focus, I wouldn't have been where I am today. Let stop using the languages of who will or will not help, I can't do it, and learn to encourage ourselves at all time.
SOME OF MY LIMITATIONS IN LIFE:
There're many Limitation that can stop and have stopped many people from getting to the top but I will be mentioning and explaining two of them below 👇👇.
One of the biggest limitation in my life is
- LISTENING AND ACCEPTING WRONG ADVICE FROM PEOPLE:
I'm not saying that listening and accepting people advice is wrong, but it depends on the way you understood what you hear from them. Because what you hear or listen to can make you and also destroy you. Had it been i wasn't brave and determine to my dream I would have been discouraged and lose focus of getting to my dream.
- FINANCIAL CRISES:
This another problem that makes me limit and look down on myself. It can make you over think yourself and also mislead you from the right part you have choose to trade ob if you aren't careful and courageous, that was why I sold sachet water till I make some money to register for my dream work ( Catering ).
HOW I PLAN TO TACKLE THESE LIMITATIONS AS A COURAGEOUS AND PERSISTENCE PERSON IN STEEMIT PLATFORM OR ANYWHERE
BECOME AWARE OF LIMITING THOUGHTS:
It is difficult to change something you are unaware of.BEGIN TO THINK BIG AND SEE THE POSSIBILITIES:
It is easy to find the faults and negatives in any situation, but to expand your limits you need to open your eyes to the world of possibilities, big possibilities.TAKE ACTION TOWARD THE BIG DREAMS THAT CONFRONT THE LIMITING BELIEFS:
Action is a mighty powerful force. Action that challenges old beliefs can change those beliefs quickly.SURROUND YOURSELF WITH OTHER BIG DREAMERS:
An amazing thing happens when you surround yourself with other possibility thinkers.CONTINUE TO GROW:
Conscious growth forces you to swell beyond your cage. Read, attend seminars, teach others to dream big, share your message, push your limits, challenge yourself.
IN CONCLUSION:
Sir @iykewatch I will likely say I have answered your questions of 2&3. For one to make a better vote on Steemschool and Steemit platform first, thing first is to read, make research and ask questions then discover where he/she isn't making it or getting wrong. And focus on what he/she wants to aim at And we should Never give up on a particular goal we have set in our heart or mind.
Perseverance never fails of its reward. If we strive with a will, success will surely be ours. We should choose our work in life after great care, but when we have once chosen it, nothing should deter us from accomplishing it.
