Wall Portraits with Toothpicks on a Black Velvet Clothe

I will officially start by saying thanks to the host of this creative contest @enveng (MOD)
It was of my greatest pleasure getting a compliment from you on one of my posts and at the same time an official invitation to partake in the Before and After Contest.
My gratitude wouldn’t have been complete if I had dishonored your invitation, honestly speaking this is my very First Contest on Steem Blockchain, so I hereby plead for judgment to be tendered with mercies on my post interface and writing decorum. Below are the full details and a step by step processes I took to create my Wall Portraits with Toothpicks on a Black Velvet Clothe.

MATERIALS:

Plywood / Ceiling Patterns
Black Velvet Clothe
Portrait Hooks / 1 inches Nails
Measurement Tape / Roller
Black Car Paint / Gold Spray Paints
Toothpicks / Scissors
Sanding Paper / Pliers
Pencil / Flex-Saw
Top-Burn Gum / one 3 inches Nail
Stones Particles.

STEP 1.

I Measure, cut and arrange the woods in their appropriate positions according to the following size:
Plywood = 15 X 11.5 and 9 X 5.5
Ceiling Pattern = 15 X 1.5 (2 units) and 8.2 X 1.5 (2 units)
At this point, the 15 X 11.5 plywood will be down while the 9 X 5.5 is placed on top of it at the center, then comes the ceiling patterns surrounding the square edges of the bigger plywood while the hook be at the back as shown below.

STEP 2.

I will now seal all the gabs in between all the joining with a filler, extract some stone particles from sand, after this I applied the top-burn to the inner surroundings of the frame in between the ceiling patterns and the small plywood which was 9 X 5.5 and then fit in the stone particles into the surface of the top-burn gums then paint the surrounding ceiling patterns with a black car paint and then leave it to dry.

STEP 3.

I have to cut the Black Velvet Clothe to the size of the inner plywood (9 X 5.5), cut the toothpicks into desired units I want and finally place them on the Black Velvet Clothe following the design I want to create.
So I choose to make a House design with the caption GOD BLESS MY HOME

STEP 4.

After everything else, I spray the stone particles with a gold color using my spray paint and after it’s dry I placed the designed house of toothpicks on the Velvet to the small Centre plywood using gum to glue it to the surface of the plywood.
Then I install the 2 inches concrete Nail into the wall using hammer and finally hang the portrait hook to it...!
